Elkhart, Indiana’s SIXTH Wrongful Conviction

In September, I posted about Elkhart, Indiana’s fifth exoneration. Today the Indiana University Maurer School of Law’s Habeas Litigation team announced that its client, Dewayne Dunn, has just been exonerated. Dunn is now the SIXTH person to be exonerated from Elkhart, Indiana. Here is a link to the federal district court’s decision outlining the facts of the case.

Elkhart, Indiana continues to live up to its title as the wrongful conviction capital of the country.
